DR. BENJAMIN OPARA JOINS MARYLAND GENERAL
HOSPITAL’S DEPARTMENT OF SURGERY
(BALTIMORE, Maryland – June 23, 2009) Benjamin
Opara, M.D., F.A.C.S., has joined Maryland General Hospital’s
Department of Surgery, specializing in urology.
A Board-Certified urologist, Dr. Opara has been in
private practice for over 30 years in the Baltimore area and brings
extensive experience in urology to Maryland General Hospital. He
will provide a full range of treatments for diseases and disorders
of the urinary tract, including urologic cancer (testicular,
prostate, bladder and kidney), prostate disease, incontinence and
voiding dysfunction, kidney stones and erectile dysfunction.
Dr. Opara is a graduate of the State University of
New York, where he also completed his internship and residencies in
surgery and urology. He is a Fellow of the American College of
Surgeons.

Dr. Opara will see patients in the brand new
Surgical Specialty Suite at Maryland General Hospital and at his
office located at 2300 Garrison Blvd., Suite 107, in Baltimore, MD.
