Nephrology

This medical specialty treats kidney disorders. Maryland General's renal lab is a multi-purpose, hospital-based dialysis center offering a wide range of services to both inpatients and outpatients. Services provided include acute hemodialysis, chronic hemodialysis, and specialized diagnostic procedures such as subclavian and femoral catheter insertions, and blood pressure monitoring.
