Testimonial on “Great Expectations”
I attended the Great Expectations program with my daughter Jernesha, who was expecting her first child. At the time she was uncertain where she would get her prenatal care or where she would deliver.
After the two-hour session, she decided to come to Maryland General Hospital. When she was ready to deliver, she arrived at the Obstetrical Center and was greeted by the staff. Throughout many hours of labor, the staff remained very attentive and caring, which helped make the process a lot easier for everyone. On April 11, Jernesha gave birth to her daughter, Staniya.
During her stay, the entire staff was extremely accommodating, pleasant and professional. It is rare to see such dedication in a work environment.
My family and I are forever grateful to Jernesha’s doctors and nurses, who were there from the beginning until the end to make sure everything went smoothly.
