Maryland General Hospital provides you and your family with medical care in more than 30 specialties. We have over 500 doctors and more than 1,500 employees. Our services cover education, prevention, and treatment of illness, injury and other sickness. We have won many honors throughout the years and are particularly proud that Maryland General was named one of "America´s Best Hospitals" by U.S. News & World Report magazine. Our most recent honor was being named one of Solucient´s "100 Most Improved Hospitals." Maryland General Hospital´s HealthLink 2000 service means you can call and talk to someone who will help you find a doctor or specialist.
We offer you information about our Community Health Education Program. We offer free and low cost medical testing at the hospital and in the metropolitan area. In addition, we host a variety of classes and support groups.
