Our Physicians and Staff
A unique panel of physicians and nurses staff the Maryland Wound Healing Center and are dedicated to healing chronic wounds.
Our Medical Director, Kapil Gopal, MD, MBA, an MGH vascular surgeon and member of the faculty at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, leads the team of specialty-trained clinicians. In addition to Dr. Gopal, a multi-disciplinary panel of experienced physicians that includes family practitioners, vascular and general surgeons, infectious disease specialists and podiatrists who will develop a comprehensive individualized care plan based on clinical pathways derived from evidence-based medicine principles.
