Maryland General Hospital Partners with Residents of Reservoir Hill for Mayor's Spring Clean-Up
(Baltimore, MD - April 15, 2011) Maryland General Hospital is partnering with the Reservoir Hill Improvement Council for Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake's Spring Cleanup – "Home to Harbor – Clean Water Starts in Your Backyard." Employees of Maryland General will work side-by-side with the hospital's neighbors in Reservoir Hill to help make the community a cleaner, healthier place to live. MGH Employees and Reservoir Hill residents will be:
- Cutting brush, mulching and weeding the Reservoir Hill Community Garden
- Sweeping leaves and cleaning up trash at various locations throughout the community
- Prepping soil for a new planned community area
WHEN: Saturday, April 16, 2011, 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon
WHERE: Reservoir Hill, Whitelock Street & Brookfield Avenue
Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake is expected to join the effort between 8:45 and 9:15 a.m.
