Transitional Residency Program
The transitional year residency is a one-year program providing a well-balanced curriculum of graduate medical education in multiple clinical disciplines and is designed to facilitate the choice of and/or preparation for a given specific specialty.
PGY 1
Primary responsibilities in addition to those listed for the PGY I Categorical Program include one month of compulsory surgery rotation at University of Maryland Medical Center.
