2012 Community Health Needs Assessment

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act ("ACA") requires that hospitals perform a community health needs assessment in either fiscal year 2011, 2012, or 2013, adopt an implementation strategy to meet the community health needs identified, and beginning in 2013, perform an assessment at least every three years thereafter. The Maryland General Hospital Community Health Assessment was completed in fiscal year 2012.
